Contraction Timer Lite App Reviews

Works Great!

Takes the thinking out of it all!

Of the 3 Ive tried, this is the best!

I tried two other contraction timer apps but they fell short. I really wanted one that would allow me to delete history (not just the most recent contraction). This app allows me to view my history and delete any contractions from the list I choose (like when I forget to hit stop and a contraction ends up looking way longer than it actually was - or if I decide it was a false contraction and it needs to be removed from my interval calculation.) Ive only used the lite version of this app and am happy so Im sure the paid version is even better.

Simple and effective

My wife and I found this contraction timer to be excellent. It is exactly what you need. We found it to be easy to use, and unlike the child, its free

Fantastic App! Easy to use!

This app was amazing during my labor contractions! I was able to have ease of use while laboring at home before having a natural hospital birth. The advertising is located at the bottom of the app so it was never in the way. No pop up ads either. I will definitely try this companies other apps.

All you really need!

This app worked great for me during labor! It was very easy to use and straightforward. No glitches or crashes or silliness.

Perfect for what it is designed for

App was very easy to use, and did not crash. Simple way to track whether or not you need to go to the hospital.

Did not work

Installed and briefly opened but then shuts down every time.

App doesnt seem to work

This app looks great, but does not seem to work. It just shuts down every time I open it.

Great app!

Worked well for me! Hardest part was logging onto my itouch when I was doubled over in pain!

Perfect

My husband thought it was ridiculous, but it was so easy to use. Looking at the history and averages made me leave right on time for the hospital.

Guesstimating is not the right answer

My wife had been estimating the length and interval between contractions and thought they were 30-35 seconds and 7-8 minutes apart. When I got home I grabbed this app and we started timing. They were 1:15 - 1:35 in length and 4 minutes apart. We got to the birth center 3 minutes before her water broke AND she was 10 centimeters. This app saved our car from needing a deep detailing and got us there just in time for everything to go amazingly.

Simple and useful

This worked great for me. So much easier than trying to keep track with a stopwatch or clock. Its simple and easy to use. Just what you need so you can concentrate on what you and your babys needs.

Worked fabulously.

Yep, this was a very helpful app, thank you!!!

Great!

Great app! We used it before heading into the hospital. It was great for helping us know when the time was right.

Easy to use and practical

Id downloaded other similar app and tried them all but at the end I found this to be the most practical one. When youre really in pain, you wont have the mood to really record anything else except when the pain kicks in. Nice work!

Thanks for the app!

Love the app. Helps us focus on each other instead of timing and math. We like the interface on the Windows Phone a bit more than iPhone. Great overall.

Just whats needed!

We found this app by chance as we waited for baby after week 41. Was simply awesome when put to use as contractions kicked in. Over 28 hrs, we used it over 4 different stretches of time - cant get simpler than a Start and Stop button! When our 20 and 60 min averages finally hit 4 and 12 (the 5-1-1 target), we headed to the hospital, 5 mins away. Within minutes, transition occurred and in a couple of hrs, we were holding our daughter ! In hindsight, we wondered whether it might have better to start driving to the hospital when the 20 and 60 min averages are around 3 and 10, giving us more time in the hospital..but we did have that reading 12 hrs from the start of contractions and after that point in time, averages declined down to 2 and 1 over the next 10 hrs before picking up again. So that one was clearly false. Anyway, by far, the most helpful app weve used :-)

The best!!! Includes averages!

After trying all of the contraction apps and most of them missing some key features I found this one. It has all the info you need right in front of you. And is the only one to include averages, so you can know what to expect, and a running timer so you know when to expect your next contraction.

History is confusing

History is confusing and there is no way to record contraction intensity or notes about contractions.

Medical

Its gud
